This is for the sudden and tragic death of a beloved friend, mother, daughter, girlfriend, and overall great person who didn't deserve to leave this world so soon. Her ex shot her, injured their two kids and leaving them parentless, and then shot himself.. This donation will be in memory of her, to help her family and loved ones , her kids, and funeral costs. The last thing anyone need is to worry about finances. RIP Christina Pearl Franklin. You will be missed always and forever❤️

Thank you everyone for your generosity! If you don't know me I am a friend of Christina's and her boyfriend Corey's. I also worked with her at UMC in Las Vegas.
No one ever expects something like this to happen I know that her family is so grateful for all the help, thoughts, and support. It's amazing to have so many donations not from just friends and coworkers but also from people that never knew her or have no relation in the matter.
The money raised will help with funeral costs medical bills from the children, and anything else that Christina's loved ones might need in these hard and sad times.
Again thank you so much and please keep spreading the word about this fundraiser. The kids and family they're taking custody of them never anticipated this and will need all the help they can get. Have a great Mother's Day and make sure you give your mom a big hug and treasure every minute you get with her. Note: a small portion will be transferred to Christina's boyfriend, Cory Flores, (only from those who know Cory ) that has taken time off to deal with matters at hand. The remainder of the money will go towards the kids and guardians.

From what I was informed, the kids are doing great and will be allowed to leave tonight! Christina's mom, Shari Franklin, has custody of them and looks as if though the donations have slowed down now. I can't thank you enough for every penny that has been donated because it all counts. So everyone knows, the medical bills and the funeral costs have been taken care of by an organization that sets money aside for instances such as this one. When I created this account it was for three main things: 1) to help pay for Christina's funeral 2) to help pay for the kids medical bills 3) for those that work with Cory [Christina's boyfriend], to help him for all the time he had to take off during this painful time. ( again, only the donations that come from those who actually know Cory will have a small percentage of their donation given to Cory. Everyone else' donation, who has no relation to Cory, will have 100% of their funds going to the kids.)
Therefore, this leaves the money that was originally intended for the funeral and medical bills to be given towards Christina's kids, Eric and Lilly Franklin. Because of their age (3&4) the money will be transferred to Cory Flores and he will give the intended amount for the kids to their guardian, Shari Franklin.
