On Monday, March 23, 2026, a family we care deeply about experienced a catastrophic event that has changed their lives in an instant.
After a day of ice fishing, a tragic accident occurred. From what we can gather, when preparing to load his equipment, his 6-wheeler, parked on land, unexpectedly rolled and pinned him underneath, trapping him under water. He was rescued by those nearby until the ambulance was able to arrive. He was airlifted to Marshfield and is on life support, fighting incredibly hard, surrounded by his family. Paul is a devoted husband to Connie, a loving father to his daughter Sarah, and a proud Grandfather to to two granddaughters who he absolutely adores and spends most of his free time with he is someone who is always willing to lend a hand to other, no questions asked. Paul is free-spirited, a big kid at heart, always with a smile on his face, and always up for an adventure. He is a hard working man who loves the outdoors- especially hunting and fishing.-and his family is the center of everything he does. He is so full of life, and even now, his strength and will to keep fighting have been nothing short of amazing. He has already overcome the unthinkable and continues to fight ever single day
Right now, his family is staying by his side, just as he has always been there for them and Paul continues to fight with everything her has.
Paul continues to show progress, particularly when his daughter and granddaughters speak to him.
His only daughter, Sarah, is a ICU nurse at Howard Young Medical Center, who devotes her life to taking care of others, and even performed CPR on a stranger last summer at a restaurant, who proceeded to make a full recovery.
Paul has raised one beautiful daughter who has devoted her life to caring for others and we ask that you help Paul and his family in this time of need. He has continued to make great progress, but the road ahead is long, and any contributions, small or large are greatly appreciated.
