Without a computer, I can't effectively make high quality YouTube videos or do live streams! I I need to get a new laptop since my current one just experienced a fatal internal event. Here is the story:
For the past year and a half, I have worked on my own Youtube channel, creating creative, entertaining and informative products oriented around gaming themes and ideas. I came to love making content and engaging with my audience of over 2700 subscribers so much, that I chose to pursue this as my career and become the best entertainer and video editor I could be. I began attending college for digital media production to sharpen my skills and aid me in my path in life.
Fast forward to now; I'm sitting in my web authoring class finishing up my final project that is due in an hour. Gladly close to finishing, I hear a pop and my trusty Laptop shuts off. I gave it a second a bit confused, and then proceeded to turning it on. The unit refused to turn on, so I played with the charger a bit but still nothing, not even a charging led light. Worried, I held the power button; Still nothing, I'm now starting to understand that my laptop just fried in front of me. I notified my teacher that my laptop just fried and she advised me to let her know what is going on when I find out, and that she understands this problem is out of my control.
I went back to my car still trying to turn it on, I found a screw driver and opened it, and pulled the battery. Put it back; absolutely nothing. It's done. Now I start worrying about PixeLife episode 7 and the question and answer I was going to edit that night, and also possibly stream and chat with the viewers; all things I could no longer do. It started to hit me that I could no longer run my Youtube channel. This stressed me worse than my project being shutdown. I love making videos and I feel that is my purpose in life. The laptop is my tool as an artist as a paintbrush is to a painter. Without it I cannot create, and creating is what my life revolves around.
I don't want to stop making content, or stop live streaming; things I enjoy in life and have in doing so, helped come together an awesome audience known as the bit crew.
I want to get another laptop good enough as my old one or better, so I can continue making high quality videos and growing as video creator and graphic artist. Please donate to the cause, every bit helps! Thank you for reading this and have a good day everyone!
