Benefit for the Family of Thomas Dotson

We are reaching out to the community for help and support for Thomas Wayne Dotson’s family. Tom recently passed away due to cancer. In summer of 2018 Tom was diagnosed with prostate cancer, taking a new treatment for this. About 8 months later he was diagnosed with lung and spine cancer. He started off with chemo treatments but the cancer just exploded - spreading elsewhere and Tripling in size within 3 weeks. The spine tumor grew to the size of a baseball. After major surgery to remove this dangerous tumor- he came through it and to the Drs surprise he was able to walk. Tom fought hard to get a handle on this cancer. But with multiple surgeries due to back fractures/ infections and later blood infection - skin grafts- legs swelling- and back not healing-the cancer treatments had to be put on the back burner and he was never able to get back on chemo. He just had too many battles against him. He never complained once and he always kept his sense of Humor- That was Tom, he had such a positive attitude! Tom owned his own business - Docs Computers for the past 15 years as well as playing in several bands and doing carpenter work. Him and his wife have been used to doing things on their own. His wife Sonia is an amputee. She does great for what she has been through and never complains about any of her battles as well. At this time we are kindly asking for donations from the community and friends to help the family with funeral expenses. Tom did not have any life insurance.
