Mi amiga Praxedes Fortuna fue diagnosticada en febrero de este año con ATLL, un tipo de leucemia bastante rápida y agresiva, por lo tuvo que trasladarse sola a NY (Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center) para someterse rápidamente al tratamiento para salvar su vida, dejando en Santo Domingo a su esposo al cuidado de sus mellizos Manuel y Manuela de 12 años.
Su tratamiento es muy costoso y consiste en varias quimioterapias y transplante de médula, lo que conlleva grandes gastos económicos. Praxedes está luchando con mucha fe por su vida y estamos muy positivos de que con Dios y su mano sanadora ella superará este nuevo reto.
Les pido a todos que incluyan a Praxedes en sus oraciones y ayudemos donando nuestro granito de arena. No importa lo pequeña que pienses es tu contribución, te aseguro es muy valiosa.

Hello everyone,
My friend Praxedes Fortuna was diagnosed in February of this year with ATLL, a type of leukemia that is rapid and aggressive. For this reason, she had to leave her home in Dominican Republic and travel alone to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, in order to receive life saving treatment. My friend has left behind her 12 year old twins Manuel and Manuela as well as her husband who is taking care of them.
As you all know cancer is no joke and neither are the expenses of treatment. For obvious reasons she is currently out of work and is in need of major economic help to cover her treatment which consists of chemotherapies, bone marrow transplant, and costs of living away from home. Praxedes is fighting for her life with a lot of faith and with God above all we are very hopeful that she will overcome this challenge.
This is why I ask all of you including friends and family, to please keep Praxedes and her family in your prayers. I would also like to ask each and everyone of you to please help donate and contribute to her cause. No matter how small your contribution, I assure you it makes a huge difference in the fight for her life.
Please help us, help her fight off this terrible disease!
