Opal's Vet so they can save her

At dusk the night of July 14th would forever be etched in my sisters mind. She was with her daughter and nieces talking a walk through her local park. They were walking there fur babies and one named Opal had gotten lose. She was wear a full body harness and some how wiggled her way out of it. A man was speeding down the road, way above the speed limit, hit her, and drove off as fast as he could. He Never stopped. They rushed Opal to the Closest ER vet, which happened to be 45 miles away in Connecticut. Opal made it, she wants to fight! Her jaw had been broken and they are talking about a possible spinal injury that could be present and she needs surgery. The 1st thing the vet mentioned was if they did not have the funds, they should put her down. She is under a year old. She wants to live. They had to pay scramble to pay 3000 up front just to give her IVs. The costs could raise all the way to about 10,000 with surgery. I am trying to raise the money so they don't have to sell there house to pay for their fur babies doctor bills. If we can raise the money and make more, we will donate any left over money to an animal shelter. Anything right now will help! The will not perform surgery unless they have the funds upfront. My family is scrammbling.
