Beat Breast Cancer

My mother Maria Garcia has been diagnosed with breast cancer, these words are difficult to type. But so everyone understands our situation and our need I’ll elaborate. On July 4th, she rushed to Kendall Regional Hospital with extreme pain in her breasts. After several testings Dr’s explained she had sepsis originating from a breast infection. The plan was to simply treat it with a round of antibiotics. The Dr’s did just that, but they also recommended to have a biopsy done, to confirm suspicions of cancer. Before we could breath a sigh of relief our greatest fear was confirmed. Breast cancer. At this point it is so early on in the process that we don’t have the details on the stage or how severe it is. What we do know, is chemotherapy will be vital to her care. In any case being the diagnosis that it is, we are gravely concerned. More so, because at this time my mother does not have medical insurance. We are in the process of trying to get her any type of insurance, so in the meantime we will be paying for her initial visits out of pocket. Apart from monetary donations, we would also greatly appreciate if any knowledge on medical insurance would be shared. Any donation given to us big or small will be greatly appreciated. Every donation given to us is the hope and strength needed to beat this cancer, from the bottom of my family’s heart, we thank you!
