Carmen Palacios a loving daughter, sister and aunt

This GoFundMe account is for my sister that has Leukemia. She is 28 years old. Carmen was getting her chemo treatments. She even lost her hair. These treatments have been so intolerably tough on her. With every treatment she had, she would get so sick. She had to be hospitalized many times because of the intensity of the chemo. Her skin would crack and she would bleed through the cracks. She couldn't even stand because she was too weak after every treatment. We had to take her to the bathrom because she couldn't do it by herself. We showed her. She had very little appetit and would throw up. Seeing her go through is was one of the hardest things I've ever seen a person go through. Not too long ago she was sick again so we had to take her to the hospital. A day later they informed us that she had the covid-19 . This distressed my entire family and her friends. Just waiting by the phone and hearing from the nurses and doctors was stressful. We couldn't even be in the hospital. We couldn't support her personally. The doctor finally told me and my family that all of her organs were giving up. He said that because she has leukemia and getting the covid-19 was the worst thing that could have happened to her. Her Original doctor had told us that she was going to make it. But now because she got the covid-19 it started slowly destroying all her organs and she cannot breathe on her own. Her oxygen levels are to the sky. Her current doctor informed me that we need to plan for the worst. her body is giving up on her and the doctor says that the best thing that we could do is to let her go in peace. So I'm hoping that all of you can understand the pain that we are going through. My sister is the strongest person that I will ever know. I ask if everybody can please help me and my family through tragedy. We also lost a younger brother a few years ago. Our family has gone through a lot especially my parents. The donations will be greatly appreciated and will go towards her recovery if she survives (miracle) or her funeral cost. Thank you so much.
