Funeral for James Edward Tapia Jr.

On Father’s Day June 21st, our lives were changed forever. My Father James Tapia Jr. (Jim Tapia) was rushed to the hospital due to chest pains and trouble breathing. He was tested for COVID-19 and the results came back positive for the virus as well as pneumonia. He had been in the hospital since then, my siblings and I had not been able to see him since, which caused him severe anxiety. My father has always wanted to keep us close by ever since my mom passed away 10 years ago. So being away from his kids was the hardest part for him in the hospital. We kept up with his nurses and to our knowledge he was starting to get better and sounded better on the phone. We thought he would be home in a couple of days. But in the end his heart couldn’t handle the strain and he passed away on July 10th. We have decided to hold a viewing for him on July 25th to give us a chance to see him one last time before he is cremated and set along side our mom. I am reaching out to our family, friends and anyone will to help us for donations to help us cover the service costs.
