My name is Petrie. I am asking for your help to raise money for my beautiful cousin. Michele (Mimi) was just diagnosed with ALL (acute lymphocytic leukemia) this past month at age 17. Her and her family had come for spring break as her father was deployed from Washington where she lives and her family is stationed there with the Navy and was rushed to the UCLA 5 days into the vacation. She was feeling weak and was pale. Upon arriving to the hospital doctors said she needed blood transfusion and a bone marrow procedure. She went into the hospital Friday night was diagnosed that same night and had the bone marrow procedure the following morning. Her first chemo dose was the following Tuesday and stayed in the hospital for 2 weeks. Currently she is staying in LA and is going to Chemo every Tuesdays and will be having additional testing done. Her and her family will be moving back to Washington in a week and will need to continue her care out there. We need your help for her medical expenses and relocation.

 

 

Michele is a sweet and beautiful 17 year old who was getting ready to graduate and attend Central Washington University  in the fall. Everything has been put on hold for now until she is mentally and physically strong. The chemo that she is getting will cause her to lose her hair. She will be getting her head shaved next Wednesday and will be  going to have wig fitting rather than her Prom fitting.
