Hello community, I still need your help!
Due to further loss of my healing arts business stemming from fatigue, post-traumatic stress, hypertension, an inguinal hernia and a now unsuitable environment in which to work, mold in most of my belongings, walls and lungs, paint chipping from the ceiling onto my bed (see updated photo), and renewed eviction proceedings against me despite ERAP (emergency rent assistance) funds, I must raise money for an expensive independent mold test, a lawsuit against my landlord, two months of additional rent and now necessary career change. Please donate what you can. Thanks so much!

As you can see from the picture, I was flooded by the neighbor upstairs again on June 19th, 2020 —only much worse than previously. Gallons and gallons of brown moldy water destroyed my bedroom, hallway and bathroom ceiling sending mold spores everywhere. The two market-rate apartments next to me and below me were badly damaged and both women moved out. I have lived and worked here for 17 years but had to flee for much of the last month with nowhere to go but a hotel. With Covid lockdown, little income from my healing arts and so far no unemployment, I face possible eviction waiting for a settlement or buyout that may never come. I am miraculously current with my rent but have had to borrow a lot of money to do so. I have many unforeseen expenses due to the flood: I need to hire an independent mold inspector, there will be legal fees, medical fees (been coughing from inhaling mold and paint fumes for weeks), hotel bills for 8 days while they painted (it dried so slowly due to gallons of water in the ceiling), a HEPA air filter and half my wardrobe and furniture stayed wet for days and has turned moldy.
Thanks so much!
