The Ronaldo Cesa Cafeteria Mural

This Go Fund Me is to create a mural for our new namesake of The Ronaldo Cesa Cafeteria. With these funds, we are going to create a giant mural in our cafeteria. Ronaldo Cesa was Ronnow‘s cafeteria manager for the past 10 years. He gave his heart and soul to our community. During the Covid closure, he worked at an emergency food distribution site to provide food to our at risk community. While serving our students that were in need, he contracted Covid and passed away in early April. Our community has been completely devastated because of his passing. He was completely dedicated to our community and we want to celebrate him. Recently, the CCSD school board has approved to name the cafeteria in honor of Ronaldo. Our new official cafeteria name is The Ronaldo Cesa Cafeteria. It is hard to put into words his dedication so I will share his last Facebook post: “During this challenging time, I got a privilege to be part of CCSD’s drive in handling out free meals around the valley to needy students due to shutdown of Nevada schools. Despite of CCSD’s temporary closure, I am thankful to come & serve our community in my special day Today marks my birthday!I woke up with gratitude for another day that our Almighty God gave me... it is really amazing to have human connection & a sense of community which is part of our social responsibility in this Covid-19 adversity..It is always fulfilling that we can provide smile in children’s faces which give us sense of belonging and made me feel more whole as a person!
