A new walking aid for Jude
Donation protected
Our son has a rare genetic disorder Hereditary Spastic Paraplegia more commonly known as HSP. Many of the symptoms of HSP are very similar to that of cerebral palsy. As a family we spend many hours at hospital appointments, physiotherapy appointments, orthotist appointments the list comes on and then come the long days in hospital for Botox injections to his lower limbs to help and control his spasticity and everyday movement. As we all know children grow and he has now out grown his most versatile mobility of all his walking frame. We have recently been informed we are no longer able to get the funding we are eligable for due to lack of funds for our beautiful kids who deal with disabilities day in day out. We are aiming to raise $3,000 for some new wheels to see our little man run walk and be a kid!
Thank you for taking the time to read a little party of our big story.
