Hello, my name is Lindsay and I am looking to raise money for my mom, Brenda.

For those who know my mom, she is very proud and would not ask for this help herself. This is why I took it upon myself to create this for her.

Earlier this year, my mom was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. We were informed it was caused by a rare gene mutation.

We found this out when she was rushed to back-to-back emergency brain surgery, where they found 3 tumors.

I was working and living in Hawai’i and have moved back home to be with her.

The cancer has spread to other areas of her body, but luckily it was able to be removed with surgery and treatment from her brain.

My mom has worked hard to provide a good life for me as a single mom, and as her only child, I want to return the favor.

We are asking for financial assistance to help cover treatment that may not be covered by insurance, transportation to treatment doctors that are out of state, and monthly bills.

I am presently taking care of my son and here to help my mom to appointments and anything else she may need.

We don’t know how much time we have, but we are holding onto hope. I believe in the power of prayer, so if you could add my mom or pray for her and my family during this time, I am grateful.
