Last week, our family's world changed in an instant. Scott — a devoted dad to his daughter Ruby and dog dad to Champ, suffered a spinal stroke that has left him unable to work and focused entirely on his recovery.

Scott is fighting hard and keeping his mental game strong and upbeat. Right now, his paid time off is keeping him afloat — but that safety net won't last forever. As his recovery continues, we're looking ahead to the gap that's coming: the bills that won't stop, and the income that will, and projects that will need to be completed at his house for when he is able to return home.

Every dollar raised here will go toward bridging that gap — rent, utilities, groceries, and the everyday expenses that make it possible for Scott to focus on healing instead of stressing about finances.
