Hi, my name is Adriana, and this is my uncle’s story. I’m helping my family navigate this incredibly difficult time, and all donations will go directly toward helping my uncle on his long road to recovery.

On October 30th, our beloved Raul was involved in a tragic pedestrian vs. auto accident while working hard in his landscaping job. He suffered a traumatic brain injury and is currently intubated in the Critical Care Unit, fighting through one of the hardest battles of his life after he was struck by a vehicle.

Raul is so much more than the circumstances of this accident. He is a devoted father, loving husband, caring uncle, and an all-around incredible person. Those who know him describe him as kind, hardworking, funny, and endlessly charismatic — the kind of person who would give you the shirt off his back and still find a way to make you smile.

While we are hopeful and praying for his recovery, the road ahead will be long and challenging. He will require extensive rehabilitation and medical care, and his family will face significant emotional and financial burdens during this time.

El 30 de octubre, nuestro querido Raul sufrió un trágico accidente cuando fue atropellado mientras trabajaba en su empleo de jardinería y paisajismo. Como resultado, sufrió una lesión cerebral traumática y actualmente se encuentra intubado en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos, luchando por su vida con toda su fuerza.

Raul es mucho más que las circunstancias de este accidente. Es un padre dedicado, un esposo amoroso, un tío cariñoso y una persona increíble. Quienes lo conocen lo describen como amable, trabajador, divertido y con un carisma único — alguien que siempre está dispuesto a ayudar a los demás y a sacar una sonrisa incluso en los momentos más difíciles.

Aunque tenemos esperanza y fe en su recuperación, el camino será largo y desafiante. Raul necesitará una rehabilitación extensa y cuidados médicos continuos, y su familia enfrentará una gran carga emocional y económica durante este proceso.
