At my business - Paper Tiger - we are raising funds for the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation.

I am running the Edinburgh 10k in October as part of those efforts. I don't care much for running, but I do care greatly about tigers!

In fact, I haven't run with any serious intent for about 15 years, so this is also a personal challenge alongside my desire to raise money. I'm going to need some help. At the moment, that help is coming from Sanjeev Kohli, who has been my coach of choice over the last few weeks on the BBC Couch To 5k App. I will need more help getting from 5k to 10k!

In fact, I am going to need a lot more help to earn my go faster stripes.

Firstly, I would like you to sponsor me. I know that will be a powerful motivation for me.

Secondly, I would like you to check in on my progress when you see me in real life or online. Ask me for a training update, and send me an email. Please send me a message when you donate on my GoFundMe page.

Thirdly, if you fancy the challenge, please join me running the men's or women's races in Edinburgh on October 23rd. I prefer working in a team; none of that 'Loneliness Of The Long Distance Runner' for me.

Save The Tiger.

Please.

And Thank You.

The David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation (DSWF) is a highly effective wildlife conservation charity supporting various innovative and far-reaching projects to protect endangered wildlife and their habitats from the impacts of wildlife crime.
We fight wildlife crime, protect endangered species and engage with communities across Africa and Asia.
