Help Support Brett

My name is Brett Cobabe and I need your help. I am a father of 5 fabulous boys and have been married for 24 years. I have been an insulin diabetic for 45 years. I was feeling pretty good until recently. Last year I lost 5 toes due to an infection.  Then, recently, I lost my leg below the knee.  I am now in a situation that confines me to a wheelchair until I can be fitted with a prosthetic in about year.  In the meantime, my home and family are suffering. We have a leaky roof,  an outdated airconditioner, and a continuously growing pile of medical bills.  
I used to be able to fix everything around the house, however, my new state of leglessness now prevents me from doing home repairs and has caused a dramatic drop in pay at work.
In the summer climate where we live, it reaches over 110 degrees for days at a time without evening relief.  Because our airconditioner is over 20 years old, it is not energy efficient and drives our utility bill through our very leaky roof.  The money that you so generously donate to our cause will be used to buy an energy efficient airconditioner and replace our holey roof.  With any remaining money, we will concentrate on shrinking that giant pile of medical bills.
We need this money as soon as possible because the summer Redding heat is upon us already.
