Shannon’s Fearless Fight!
Donation protected
Hi everyone! I am fundraising for a girl who has been one of my best friends for most of my life. More so like a sister than anything. A lot of you that know me know Shannon Mulvey and I are thick as thieves. That is why I was wanting to do this for her. I wanted to first start by saying thank you to anyone who stops by to read this. The most important thing we are asking for is prayers. If you can’t spare the money to donate, we would love just a simple prayer or even positive thought. I understand everyone’s finances during these times are being tested. Three weeks ago, Shannon contacted me and said she needed to tell me something. I wasn’t thinking a whole lot about it until she told me. My heart dropped. I was really taken aback. She told me that she had breast cancer stage two and had to start chemo ASAP. I thought to myself how could this be? A girl who just had a baby and was about to start planning her wedding is now having to fight stage two breast cancer. She was tougher than I was about it and probably ended up comforting me more than I did her lol. As you can imagine with her just having a baby three months ago, they were still paying on hospital bills. I think when people are told they have cancer, one of the biggest things that weighs on their minds is “how will I pay for the treatment?” I mean, if I was diagnosed with cancer I know that would be a huge burden on me. I would probably think about it day and night. That’s something I would love for everyone to come together and to be able to help with. My goal is to get them enough money for a emergency savings account for any bills associated with her procedures, medications, and treatments. Any way that you could help would greatly appreciated by me and especially her and her family.
