This fund is to help me get back on my feet again when I get discharged from Pheasant Wood nursing home.After extensive chemo. and radiation treatment I could not swallow for 2 months.We tried all sorts of remedies.Finally I collapsed and had to be taken to the hospital.I recieved a blood transfusion and a pegtube.8 days later I was brought here to rehab.That was april 22.Started eating solids and had plans of going home and working.Dr. put me back on 247 feedtube.No working. It took my insurance over 4 months to get me personal care.I was vomiting non stop with nothing to puke.I had no one to talk to who knew anything about my cancer.I was alone 95% of the time,scared out of my wits.My brothers came to visit as much as possible.They have family and houses to pay for.A very special cousin went over and above to help me.Iam so grateful to all of them for comforting me.I don't think they even new what it ment to have them there.I still can't talk well radiation burnt me so bad.Or swallow.What I need to do is a clutch,brakes tires and insurance to get back on the road.My plan is to volunteer at American Cancer Sociaty to share my story with others going throu this.It is so scary being alone not knowing what fall, wich vomit stint or the not breathing at night waking up choking on your flem is going to kill you.Just knowing some one is there for you makes a huge differance.It won't fix any thing But it's very comforting knowing you have a shoulder to lean,count and cry on.I honestly believe If you havenot been there you have no clue how scarey it is not knowing if this breath is your last dying alone.I also want to take folks to Dr.,food bank,dump,shopping, what have you.All free of charge.My SSI covers my rent and electric .No cable or internet.This is a borrowed computer with wifi at the home I'm at.I would be eternally grateful for you helping me help others.I know how it feels and NO ONE should have to go it alone.Thankyou to all who stood by me.Now it's my turn to give it to others.Thankyou all for just taking the time to read this.I f you can help me that would be wonderful.If not I understand.$$ is hard to come by.I saved $200 for my funeral.Now I made it past intensive treatments and still alive it's the base of this fund.I don't feel right asking but don't know what else to do or say but THANK YOU!
