Hey everybody. I’m fundraising for Mom’s battle against cancer. She recently had a hysterectomy to remove a large cancerous mass. During some of the testing, additional cancer cells were identified. For anyone who knows my parents, they are good, honest people who love to help others in need. For years, Dad has been a carpenter who charges less than he what he could because he has never wanted to take advantage of people. Since the closing of the Lincoln mill, they’ve had some financial struggles. In attempt to pay of some medical bills, they discontinued their Obamacare policy. Put simply, he couldn’t afford to pay for both the medical bills and the insurance premium. Unfortunately, Murphy’s law struck, and Mom had to be seen for what she thought was something relatively simple. It turned out to be cancer, and now on top of the bills incurred over the past several weeks, she’s facing chemotherapy. I’m asking for the community to lend any assistance you can afford or would be willing to donate.
