I'm Scott Wilson.
Before you read my story I want you to know I thought long and hard how to approach this. I've never really found it easy to ask for help. Was fearful of being viewed as weak or unworthy. But as I grow older, I realize throughout our lives we all need help in some form. It is finding strength and love in others that we survive.
Most importantly, I need to relieve some of the burden being carried by my partner.
My whole financial support during these past months has been my wonderful fiance',  Zenee Helmstetler.
She has picked up so many extra shifts, worked extra hours, taken an extra job. In addition she has taken care of me, the kids (Wally dog and Moxy the cat) and our home. She is my heart and my love. Without her I would be living on the street. It's hard to describe the stress she's under. Trying to pay the bills and taking care of my butt. There's plenty of tears and fear, but we manage to sneak in some laughs.
We have an wonderful support system with Zenee's parents, my close friends Lisa Martin and Tony Corneto. But there is only so much.  Each month we are further behind and something doesn't get paid.
Each month more bills... we are at the tipping point.
If you know me, then you probably know I've been lucky enough to have worked in some amazing restaurants and bars. I've also been blessed to call many people friend and family. So I'm reaching out.
The past year I have been living with severe hip and back pain, resulting in extreme mobility issues. With some willpower and meds I was able to continue work. But everyday was a nightmare.
In January my condition had deteriorated to the point where I could not walk or stand without debilitating pain and muscle spasms. I was diagnosed with severe osteoarthritis in both hips, bone on bone. If I wanted to walk, both had to be replaced.
I was left unable to work.
Answered prayers brought me an incredible Surgeon and helped me through my first procedure.
My recovery has been slow, complicated by my other hip. I'm still in pain and unable to walk or stand without support. My rt hip joint is fused and an inch shorter than the lft. 
 My Doctor feels I need to proceed with the next surgery ASAP.  
So there you go.  I won't be back in the restaurant for a while.
I just want to get well and back to work.
I thank you all for the kind words and prayers. I've had some pretty down days.  It's ment the world to have encouragement and love. I hope I can repay the kindness shown me.
