We are friends of Erik Schuchard, who is a great friend to so many.   We are raising money to help support his son Dane.  For any of you who don't know him, Dane is a 14 year old boy who is losing his dad today when they remove his ventilator.  Dane is smart and kind and loving and funny and he loves his dad more than anything.  I've never seen a boy with so much respect for his father. 

Erik was admitted to the hospital on Friday April 29th.  He was diagnosed with liver failure and then kidney failure and now his lungs are also failing him.  None of us realized how sick Erik was, until it was too late.  It's heartbreaking that this amazing young boy will grow up without his beloved father.   Those of you who know Erik have benefitted from his overwhelming generosity, friendship and love.  He was so much fun and his laugh was contageous.   Football season will never be the same for any of us as his friends.  We may even suffer through a Cowboy game in his honor, with tears in our eyes. 

Dane needs your help now.  Tina is a single mom who works her butt off, but still needed Erik's assistance with raising Dane and paying the bills.  Anything will help with braces and a computer for high school next year,not to mention and all of the other expenses that Erik would have been able to help her with.  Please donate today, right now, before you forget.  If you are not comfortable with the amount you can donate, you can make it annonymous and still help Dane.   We will all be so thankful to you for your help.  Please remember Erik's insane generosity and willingness to do anything for his friends.  Thank you in advance for your donation.
