Mona Zamudio is one of those wonderful people you love to know.  She has an infectious laugh and a kind word for everyone and is the first to offer to help those in need.  Mona was diagnosed with AML in Nov 2015,  She has been a long time employee of Bakersfield Memorial Hospital and a cornerstone of the GI department and is greatly missed.  She is pretty much amazing at all her roles, wife, sister, daughter, mother, grandmother, coworker and friend.  This fund is being started due to the outpouring of concern for Mona and the frequent desire expressed to offer help to her and her family during her journey through AML.  Our heartfelt thanks to everyone for your help, positive thought and prayers.
