My husband and I took our little 13 pound cavalier King Charles to the park last night like we always do. Valentino loves going there and socializing and playing with all the kids running around and of course with his fur buddies. Last night was the most traumatizing night of my life when a fellow dog owner thought it was acceptable to brutally kick my dog to the point where my dog started convulsing. This is all started because my little Valentino who was on his leash went up to smell, sniff, and try to play with his dog. After he kicked my dog in the head and proceeded with cussing me out Valentino had multiple seizures on the way to the hospital. After multiple tests and a lot of money spent trying to make sure Valentino is ok we were told that Valentino could have seizures for the rest of his life now. A perfectly healthy 4 year old dog will now need to be medicated for his head trauma from this. We are financially strapped at this point from his stay in the hospital, and future MRI and neurology appointments. Due to this monster we now have to wait to purchase a house so we can get Valentino the best care possible. Any donations will help to see that Valentino is comfortable and not in pain.
