Help for Axel “Sony” Morales family

Story

On Monday July 5th, a fire ravaged the home where Sony and his family have owned and lived for the last 14 plus years while they were home. As smoked billowed through their second floor entry, Sony raced outside with his eldest son to flee the fire unbeknownst to him his wife was still upstairs looking for their youngest who hid from the thick black smoke. Sony heard the screams, left his youngest with his mother in law who just made it out and raced back up the stairs to retrieve his wife and eldest son. By this time the only way out was engulfed in flames leaving them no choice but to escape from the front window which was two stories high. Sony Jumps to the ground, his wife, with no other option drops their son from the window to Sony who catches him safely. Then she jumps, fortunately Sony is able to catch and break her fall but she sustained a sprained leg in the process. By the grace of God they were able to escape eminent death with minor burns and injuries. Unfortunately everything they had was engulfed in the fire leaving them with only the clothes on their backs. I’m putting together this GoFundMe in hopes of helping them rebuild their lives and get them back on their feet in what’s already been a difficult year due to Covid shutdowns and their layoffs.
