Jane's Pottery Studio
Donation protected
Hi! I am here to raise money for my humble pottery studio. Right now I have a nice little work space in my home, with a wheel and a bunch of supplies but I don't have the ability to make glazes or to fire pots myself (except for in the little raku kiln I built). In order to fire stuff, I need to upgrade my electric service and add to it so I can plug in an electric kiln. My brother-in-law is GIVING me a kiln (what a guy!), but it needs parts to be repaired. I also need some kiln shelves and minerals to create glazes. (BTW, the electricity will be coming from solar panels by mid-summer!)
The good news is I have a new job with lots of free time in the summer to work on this stuff. The other news is because of that job, I don't have the disposable income to spend on this stuff.
So for anyone who is willing to front me some money through GoFundMe, I will promise to reimburse you later with pottery. I can't promise "made to order" stuff because I'm not that good at it yet! But I plan to put up an Etsy shop, and you can use your credit there on a first-come-first-served basis. (This will be months away, however!) I will hand-deliver or ship you your pots. You can wait as long as you like to find a pot/pots that you like. The picture is of a few pots I've made in the past, to give you some idea of my work. But those were in other studios, with the glazes they had. I don't know what glazes I will have. Pots will include wheel thrown bowls, mugs, lunch plates; hand made plates, and whatever else I feel like making.
Thank you for considering supporting me in this creative endeavor, I am truly grateful!
