Ethans hair donation 4 Stewart kids

Donation protected
What do these two friends have in common? Their moms were both friends and breast cancer survivors.

At the very young age of 7, Ethan had to hear the words "Your mom has breast cancer." The next 15 months were a hard journey for the entire Sharkey family, which included his mom losing her hair due to her chemo treatments. The day his mom shaved her hair, Ethan also shaved his hair to be like Mom. Once she had beaten breast cancer, Ethan started growing his hair out so he could donate it. It has taken almost two years for his hair to get long enough, but it finally has and he will be donating it to the Children With Hair Loss charitable organization.

Unfortunately, just two weeks ago a tragedy happened in our community to a wonderful friend of Ethan's mom and who also happened to be his classmate/friend Regan's mother......Denise Bohn Stewart. For those of you reading this that are not local....Denise was the victim of domestic violence at the hands of her husband., who then in turn, took his own life. Just 4 days before Regan's moms death, Ethan had the opportunity to tell Mrs. Stewart why he was growing his hair out. She of course loved his story. She was a local radio station host and she told Ethan that when the day came to donate his hair she wanted to do an interview with him on her morning show about his hair donation. The day before Denise's funeral, Ethan announced that he felt this was the right time to cut his hair and that he wanted to do a fundraiser so he could raise money to donate to his friend Regan, and her two brothers Reece and Kaden. So we are asking for your support for both the Stewart kids and for Ethan's effort to help his friend. I know many local friends have already donated to the Stewart kids gofundme account and we understand that. We just hope that friends and family will give whatever they can to reward a boy for his determination and to help 3 children that have lost both parents at the young ages of 8, 9, & 10 years old. Every dollar raised will go to the Stewart children.

When the goal of at least $1000.00 is reached Ethan will cut his hair and donate it to the Children With Hairloss Charitable Organization.
