Doyle-Ryder Basketball Court Projec

Hey fellow D/R Dragons, today I was back in the city and I stopped by our school and I was taken aback by the condition of the basketball courts. As you can see in these photos/video below, the courts WE used to play on before, during, and after school have been decimated and something needs to be done to improve them.

We know that Doyle-Ryder was the foundation for what has become successful lives and careers for many of us, and helping to renovate the outdoor basketball courts is just a small "Thank You" that we can give back to our school. If you went to D/R, you know how important these courts used to be, and I found it very sad to know that the current students are forced to make due with the courts in their current condition.

We have set a goal of raising $2,000 to renovate these courts as best as the money can do. At the same time, we are researching possible grant and/or matching funds to contribute to the cause. The goal in mind is that on August 1, whatever money has beeen collected will be donated in the name of the Doyle-Ryder Alumni Association to the school with the specific goal of outdoor basketball court renovations.
