On Friday, December 4th, a devastating fire ravaged the lives of over 25 families residing in Richton Park, IL.  While families were preparing for their day, flames deterred those efforts and families found themselves fleeing for their lives.  For the past nine months during this pandemic, home has become the hub of school, work, and passing time. What does one do when your home is unexpectedly taken away?

Rich Township High School District 227, Chamber 57 and the Village of Richton Park are pooling their support advocating for the immediate and surrounding communities to provide a helping hand. Our goal is to raise a minimum of $50,000 to reset the families and assist them to get back on their feet. The immediate need is housing, furniture, food, clothes, and continued faith in humanity, especially during this holiday season. We are asking for monetary donations to meet the immediate needs. Any amount your heart can give would be a blessing to these families. Please share this request with all groups, clubs, and organizations.
