Help Dusty get back up on her feet and stay in Austria

Hi community, I Jessica Comis and friends am starting this crowdfunding on behalf of Dusty Whistles as she's the last person to ask anybody for help even if the situation is extremely dire. She is currently facing severe housing insecurity as she has been evicted from her apartment and in addition to that has lost her job which was her main source of income. We managed to temporarily house her at a friends studio but we need your help so we can get her into a permanent and stable home. The money will be used for the deposit of a flat, the payment of outstanding bills and to cover basic living expenses until we find her a suitable and safe job as well as getting her back on health insurance. Dusty Whistles is a transfemme cultural worker and activist that has been engaged in archival, knowledge and cultural production in New York, Berlin, Lisbon and now Vienna. Her practice is deeply rooted in grass roots organizing and activism. She shares her resources freely and makes them widely available to whomever is interested. She's a sister, comrade, elder, self taught scholar, friend to many and has been vocal and active in her support of various liberation movements. We are trying to break this cycle of trauma and instability and with this crowdfunding and wish to at least secure her basic material needs, so she can continue doing THE work.
