All proceeds will go to funding Nate's service, and funeral.
"Wherever Nate was, adventure and spontaneity weren't far behind. He was an incredibly kind and intelligent man with a poet's soul.
He had a big, contagious smile, a gentle voice and a booming laugh. ...
He was a wanderer, a giver, a gentle giant. I don't think using the word "genius" to describe him would be an over-exaggeration. He was an instrumental prodigy, extraordinary at chemistry, a technology whiz, a grammar enthusiast (and wasn't afraid to correct you on your grammar faux-pas) and a culinary master.
It was fascinating.
If I ever had a question about anything, I knew I could ask Nate, because he was bound to have an answer.
You could also TELL him anything, and he'd listen.
Without judgement, without making you feel silly or unimportant.
There was just something so free and refreshing about him;
In the way that he smiled.
In the way that he was never afraid to tell people that he loved them.
In the way that he trusted people with his whole heart, regardless of whether they deserved it or not.
In the way that he would give anybody anything they would ask for if he was able to.
In the way that he gave the best of hugs (and he gave plenty of them).
I always smile when I think about the way he greeted people or answered the phone; a long, drawn out, "Yooooooooooooooo."
So whether we were going on a nature walks, eating chicken-broccoli-alfredo penne with extra mozzarella, watching YouTube videos, or taking trips to random places together, one thing was certain when Nate was around, and that was the fact that there was never a dull moment. If he was there, I was in good company.
"Death is not the end. Death can never be the end.
Death is the road. Life is the traveler. The soul is the guide."
I love you, Natey.
