I’m starting this gofundme for my good friend Brooke Potter. Some may know, others don’t but Brooke is going into surgery to give her mom her kidney! By doing this she’s going to give her mom, DeAnn, a shot at 10-15 more years! DeAnn has been battling a kidney disease for some time now and has pretty extensive kidney failure. Without Brooke DeAnn would’ve been put on the list for a kidney transplant and it would’ve taken too long to find a match. Once Brooke got the news that she will be able to give her mom her kidney she didn’t even think twice about doing this! Her mom is her best friend and couldn’t imagine not doing this for her. Brooke owns a small business doing eyelash extensions and this will put her out of income for a little longer than a month. Not to mention she just came off not being able to work for about 3 months because of COVID-19. She was planning on using savings but as we all know that only goes so far with bills, food, her recovery time after surgery (which is in another state) before she can head home and recover there.
