Julie Seymour Needs Your Help

Donation protected
I have to admit, like so many women, I always knew there was a chance. But like so many women, I never thought it would be me. I never thought I'd hear those devastating words: 'You have breast cancer.'

My mom has always been the first one to show up and help out any family or friends in need, no matter what it took she's been there. She'd go to battle for anyone she loves and cares about. Now she needs us to help her fight her battle with her.
My name is Shayla and I am trying to raise money for this very important woman who is near and dear to my heart,  my mother Julie. She was recently diagnosed with Breast Cancer, and as Jennifer Aniston would say, "Cancer affects all of us, whether you’re a daughter, mother, sister, friend, coworker, doctor, or patient.”
My mom knows this better than most. Her brother and nephew both fought non-hodgkins lymphoma. I remember stopping by my mom's house that she left open so that my cousin could rest while on chemotherapy. Her significant other, Steve, has barely cleared the waters with his battle with mulitple myeloma and he had only recently been deemed in remission (just two days after she was diagnosed with cancer) My mom would work during the day then drive 70 miles to Denver to be by Steve's side. She took time off work to help him with all his needs during his intensive rounds of chemo and stem cell transplant. They are blessed that he is in remission, however somewhat short lived as I stated before she was diagnosed just before Steve got the good news about his multiple myeloma.

My mom raised her two girls, me and my sister mostly on her own. She's worked hard her entire life to accomplish what she wanted for her children and herself. She and Steve have two younger boys that need them both in their lives and have also been all to close to the intense turbulent effect cancer has.

My mom has a good additude towards her recent diagnosis, and is very hopeful, however the constant stress of finances can be overwhelming and can very well avert a healthy and positive healing environment. So I am hoping to raise some funds to help keep her spirits lifted and for her to knwo how much others care for her and want to see her win this battle.

I want to thank you in advance, just for taking the time to stop and read this and for any dontation you are able to make.
