Help Ryann's Fight Against Cancer
Donation protected
At 34 you never expect to hear the words, "the biopsy was positive and you have stage 2 breast cancer". That was just the beginning of a whirlwind of Doctors; The Surgeon, Oncologist, Geneticist, and a plastic Surgeon, followed by a round of blood tests, echocardiogram, too many decisions to be made, all while you are still processing that you have this disease that has turned your life upside down and drained all your savings in a matter of weeks. This is what Ryann experienced in two weeks, shortly after discovering a lump in her breast.
Now, in addition to having to make some serious treatment and surgical decisions, she is having to deal with missed work, an eighteen week round of chemotherapy, upcoming bilateral mastectomy and reconstructive surgery followed by another eight months of chemo support medication.
In spite of all that has happened and will happen, Ryann is certain that she will someday be able to look back on this challenge and remember all the thoughts and prayers from family, friends, and coworkers. She will also think only of the love and outpouring of support of those rallying around her, and thanking God for helping her though it all.
