On thursday August 4th 2016, Ana R. Melchor, a mother and loving wife was admitted at providence holy cross for abdominal pain. After they checked her, they said that she only had high blood sugar. And they gave us metformin for the blood sugar, cephalexin for infection and hydrocodone for pain. I, Jose M. Melchor asked the RN nurse what was the problem?, they have said they didnt know. That same day they let her go home with a 500 sugar level because they didnt control it, they just put one shot of insulin. During that night she was suffering from stomach pain and walking problems. On August 5th, she was admitted at kaiser permanant at 6:10am. The first thing they asked me was "why did they let her go with 500 sugar level." I responded that was my question. Then she was treated at kaiser all day until 8:00pm, then they told us what was the problem, when I say they told us thats because my wife, my daughter and me.Then the doctor told us that she had dead tissue and the doctor told us that "if it was something alive, there was a possibility she would survive." She took the risk to go into surgery, but all her intestins were dead. They closed her up and all they can do is make her as comfortable as possible until she passed away at 12:45pm, this Saturday August 6th 2016. Thats why we are asking for your support, because her last wish was to go back to Mexico. Before anything, thank you for your support. - Jose M. & Meritxell A. Melchor
