Makayla Mason born October 23rd 2009. This my 11 year old niece who was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma wich is a type of bone cancer. The doctors advised this little girl the only way to remove the tumor was to remove her leg from the knee down. She of course was devastated as any girl would be knowing not only will she have to change the way of life but go through chemotherapy as well and lose her hair. But through all the sadness of it all she remains positive and her spirits are very uplifting. I I couldn't imagine what shes going through and will go through over the course of the next year of healing and treatment. I have set up this page to try and help her parents spend the time by her side as they will be missing a lot of time at work throughout the treatment. They also live in a 2 story home which we may have to remodel to make everything accessible for makayla. I know these are difficult times for everyone but please whatever help would be greatly appreciated. No child should have to go through this alone. Thank you and god bless.
