Donation protected
On April 6th of last year, Holden took his own life leaving behind people who love him and miss him everyday. Sadly, his fate is not all that uncommon amongst retired and active duty armed forces.
In honor of his memory and to support the charity that gave me assistance and support when I needed it most, I am organizing another run on Saturday, April 22nd, in Wash Park, Denver, Colorado. It will be informal just like last year, and anything I raise here will be direclty contributed to 22 Too Many, a charity that looks to prevent suicide amongst veterans and active duty, but also provides support and guidance to those that lose someone.
This cause is so important as 22 soldiers commit suicide per day due to the complexities of PTS and combat related injuries. Please consider joing me for the run/walk/race, and please consider a contribution to this cause.
