Hello everyone, Im not the type of person to ask for much from anyone, however my fathers health is on the line. My dad has recently gotten surgery done on his neck for nerve damage. The morning after the surgery my father had fallen in the bathroom, he told the doctor to check his neck and do a sonogram and make sure everything was ok. He did this for four days and the doctor ignored his request (negligence) and when he was transferred to the second hospital it was found that the surgery was infected and there was(MRSA)found. I’ve tried to get in contact with negligence attorneys and nobody has taken this case. My father was discharged thursday June 25th after being in the hospital 45 days. He’s currently in no state to be living home with no attendent/medical supervision of any kind. He needs a hoyer to get him in and out of bed and thats to just get to his wheelchair. His legs are severely contracted to the point where there bent and stuck to each other. My father cant function on his own. He needs medical attention regardless if its an attendant at the house or more medical attention. My father was previously disabled prior to this, breaking his back when he was 23 years old. He recovered from this horrific injury and was able to walk again believe it or not. As close as February he was dancing at my cousins sweet sixteen. His current state now is hes literally bedridden and cant get out of bed without a hoyer lift lifting him out of bed. He lives off one social security check a month. All his family besides my brother and I live in New Jersey. So its been my brother and I taking on all the responsibilities at the apartment feeding him, cleaning him, doing therapy for him, talking to lawyers, the hospitals etc. We are doing everything we possibly can to try and get him back on his feet. I need help pls if you can donate anything It would be one step close to getting him back on his feet. Its hurts so bad seeing him like this. I got so much love for this man. Love yall, thank you.
