Help Northwest Wushu Academy and Sifu Li

Hi Everybody, Many of you may already know that a fire burned down the building where I was hosting classes. I found out that our insurance wont cover any of my losses. I was looking forward to a reunion, the thought of opening the doors to NW Wushu, truly makes me happy. We were slowly getting towards Phase 3 of the Covid crisis, but the fire has put me in a difficult position. Wushu has been my life’s work and the school being in Chinatown, watching so many of you grow, I felt the school was an extension of friends, family and our community. That said, I hope to find another location to start the school, but when, where and how, is difficult. I don’t want to shut the business down permanently, because it is my livelihood and it would be giving up on my dream. The way I have always imagined the school is the Chinese proverb, “Make happy those who are near, and those who are far will come.”
