Honoring the Memory of Daniel Enrique Rios

Family and friends of Danny, First and foremost, thank you all so much for the overwhelming amount of love and support you have shown the Rios family during this difficult time. On Thursday, June 25, 2020 the world lost one of the greats to COVID-19. There is not a person who met Danny that doesn't have a story to tell afterwards. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, shoulder to lean on, giver-of-advice, and loyal friend.   Danny was so full of life and put things in perspective. He instinctively knew when to send a text to check in, when you needed a hug, when to say just the right thing and what words to use. He had a heart of gold and was a devoted, generous person who would drop anything for anyone in need. His hugs could fix almost any worry and his laugh was food for the soul.   He loved to make people laugh and he did it well. Danny cared – he was proud and humble.   Of all the things Danny loved: music, cooking, gaming, family, friends and philanthropy, nothing compared to his love for his beloved dog, Stubby.   While we are all devastated by the loss of this larger-than-life guy with the twinkle in his eye, we want to celebrate his impact on each of us by donating a portion of these proceeds (in lieu of flowers) to the charities he loved most, including the shelter where he adopted his best fur friend.
