Yasmeenah Needs A Reliable Car

Hey y’all! I’m Yasmeenah, and I’m in dire need of a reliable car! My car right now is a 2005 Toyota Corolla and it has over 130k miles. This car constantly dies on me, I got a new battery, I got a new alternator but it just doesn’t work. When I took it to the shop again they said it’s a wiring issue and that the cost to get that fixed would be more than what the car is actually worth. This car dying on me has put me in really dangerous situations like one time, I was getting ready to go to work and realized it was dead so I asked a stranger help me start it and while helping me... he got into an argument with another stranger on the street and that person pulled out a gun on us and I had to beg him to not shoot us. I am a DJ who works late nights but also an active community member. I’ve used my car to transfer goods to those in need, giving rides to other community members for appts, grocery runs & basically anything they need. Getting a new car will not only ensure my safety but also allow me to further help my community. If I do raise enough for a new car I will make the Toyota Corolla a community car for folks to use it until it can’t run no more!
