My name is Gabrielle Palmatier and my 29 year old brother Kiel Baumbach recently had a terrible fall and is paralyzed from the chest down.  He has a C5 complete break in his kneck which means most stem cell therapy's will not even consider him as a patient. This has been devestating to him and our family emotionally and financially.  He now needs 24 hr care, ongoing rehabilitation, a van with a wheelchair lift, and a handicap accessible living space.  Our family lives minimally and this is beyond our abilities.  I am asking for any help you could possibly provide, even if its just passing the message on to others and saying a prayer, to aid in this life changing adjustment for him.  I am also currently researching new innovative rehabilitation centers that do accept his  condition and would love to give him that opportunity.  I would also appreciate any information on Spinal cord injuries and/or rehabilitation that you may have to share as this is all new to me.
