To Honor Our Hero Aka Devon Myers

Devon is a great person a true hero to everyone. He’s a husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, friend , cousin. Devon didn’t know a stranger he would help anyone with even the shirt off his back he was a police he was the Lieutenant of Stinesville Police Dept. He was an officer for the Indiana park rangers he has been an officer for Sheridan police Department he has been an RS0 for manual high school, Marian high school before it closed tech high school ,lighthouse. He served in the army and National Guard for several years before he retired and became a police officer he is a father to two children Karl and Kobe he has three grandsons and a granddaughter on the way that is due in October that he will never get to meet he has been married for over 27 years but with me for over 30 years. He was a family man and his family was everything he also was a step up uncle that became a father figure to many people Ashtyn was like his daughter he never had he was there for several of his other nieces and nephews he would help anyone he could’ve with anything he loved his students like they were his own children there’s not one things that Devon would not do for you or your family if he could. In 2014 of August he got the medal of Valeur from Sheridan police Department for saving peoples lives out of a burning building this man works 80 hours plus a week to provide for his family but also to put back for his community there’s so many people that should show the Devon didn’t care whether you was rich or anything else he didn’t judge you by anything but your attitude And the way you treated people if you needed help Devon was there to call upon. His family wants to make sure that he gets the proper funeral and he gets treated like a hero because that’s what Devon was he not only was a police officer but he was a friend and many other things Devon was loved by everyone he had a heart of gold and everyone that Devon came in contact with he touched them and some certain way that no one else will ever be able to so hopefully you can find it in your heart to share this post and donate so that Devon Ray Myers can get the proper hero funeral and memorial service that he deserves if you do not want to go and donate to to the go fund But you would like to donate you can get in contact with someone and either get the cash app or an address to drop off money if you would not like to give it to the go fund so that he can get the proper burial we thank you from the bottom of our hearts and just remember now it’s not Devons gone forever it’s see you later and you have an angel watching over you we love you Devon
