Jade’s Road To Recovery

Jade Maya Lam, A happy, hopeful, adventurous 5 year old from Brooklyn was recently diagnosed with a rare uncommon leukemia called Philadelphia chromosome after a doctors visit. Jada’s mother had to leave work in order to take care of Jade and her one year old baby sister. Her father is a logistic driver that travels south weekly which prevents him from seeing and caring for his family which he has no choice since he is the only source of income for the family at the moment. It is extremely rough for Jade’s family now with no work for her mom and less job opportunities for her father due to the pandemic .
