Little Claire is just 2.5 years old. She has found herself in a fight for her sweet life as she battles High Risk Neuroblastoma.
Her family is supposed to be excitedly planning for a new baby brother later this summer but is instead reeling with the news that Claire is very, very sick. I am sure you can imagine the impact such news can have on a family. Mom Dianne and dad Kenny are splitting time between the hospital with Claire, and home with big brother Blake and big sister Kate. Grandma is helping out with kids while Kenny works. Just these logistics alone are creating financial draws they were not anticipating.
Dianne is not working, and will not be for the foreseeable future. Financial support will be used for increased transportation costs, meals (one parent frequently needs to eat at the hospital), changes at home to prepare for times when Claire is outpatient, and, of course, medical bills.
