Holloway Family Tragedy

My name is Luis Montano and this was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do. On June 6th A tragedy fell on the friends and families of Nick and Carol Holloway. At around 1:45 pm Nick shot Carol 4 times before turning the gun on himself. Carol was then taken by airlift to a hospital and is in stable condition and is on a ventilator. She has already undergone surgery but has another to go. She’s my sister and all I can do is hope for the best recovery possible. Nick unfortunately passed away at the scene from his self inflicted gun wound. We don’t know what went through his mind leading up to this and we very well may never know. He was and will forever be my friend and I’ll miss him dearly. We do ask that you keep Nick, Carol and their 4 children in your prayers first and foremost. They have already gone through so much and we love them all dearly. This gofundme is to help cover living expenses such as rent, food and anything else the kids may need as carol is recovering. Also funds will be contributing to help with any therapy that Carol may need due to her injuries and further medical expenses. The 4 children are staying with their grandma and are being taken care of by her for the foreseeable future. The donation goal is arbitrary and not what we care about. If we only get 1,000 dollars or just 5, we will be forever thankful. All the donations will be handled by my mother, Virginia Montano, as she is now going to be the guardian of the 4 children, along with her own 2 teenage sons, until Carol can make a full recovery.
