Davis Youth Softball Association is a recreational youth  softball league based in Davis, Ca.  Our mission is to spread sportsmanship, leadership, and character development through sports.  Everyone plays no matter their ability to pay and we pride ourselves on offering a positive environment where young women can excell through athletics.

DYSA suffered a devastating fire at our main equipment and field maintenance facility overnight June 6th. We lost years of work in building storage, increasing our field grooming equipment resources and 2 fields worth of game and training equipment. We will need roughly $60,000 to replace all the equipment, storage and tools lost to the fire.

DYSA is a completly non-profit and volunteer driven organization.  We have no way to recoup these funds without raising fees or fundraising.

Every dollar we have to spend from league funds to replace needed gear is a dollar we don't have to give scholarships and equipment to first generation athletes, socio-economically disadvantaged players and their families and to grow opportunities for girls in sports.  We never turn a player away for inability to pay, so every dollar is precious.
