On May 22nd 2020 my dearest friend Alana and her husband Andrew endured a house fire that started in the attic. This occurred due to some plumbers who were in the process of replacing some pipes in their family home in California. Andrew and Alana were in a hotel with their 4 beautiful children when the fire broke out that night. It was important to them to be out of the house during the work, in the event that there was asbestos inside of the walls of the house (that they are renting). Thankfully, they were out of the house during the work, because the asbestos turned out to be a valid concern and a huge issue during the fire. I have seen the pictures and a video of their home and the damage is quite horrific. Everything is covered in ash and asbestos and reeks of smoke. Due to the asbestos covering most of their belongings, not much can be saved now. The children are obviously pretty devastated by having to say goodbye to all of their stuff and So Many Family Memories! They do have renters insurance, but this is costing them way more than they could have ever imagined. The Brown Family is SO GRATEFUL for all of the generous friends and family that have helped them already! This GoFundMe is only for those of you that have not had the opportunity to help them and who feel it in their heart to do so. I know that they greatly appreciate all of the prayer and financial support during this very difficult time
of extreme loss.
