Fundraiser for the unexpected passing of Eric McElmurry The world has lost a wonderful man today. As we all try to wrap our heads around the sudden and unexpected passing of our friend, Eric, we ask that you join us in our efforts to alleviate the family’s financial burdens. Most importantly, we ask that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers. Eric’s greatest joy in life was being a father. He loved his children immeasurably, and was so excited when Kobe moved in right behind him. The time they spent as neighbors meant everything to Eric. Eric loved his mom and his sisters fiercely. He was a self proclaimed “Momma’s boy”, and wore that distinction with pride. He embraced the role of being the loving brother to all of his sisters. Our greatest joy is having Eric as our friend. His loyalty, compassion, and generosity knew no bounds. Eric was always the guy you could turn to for help with anything. He was a soft place to land for so many. He helped without question or judgement, and he never kept score and wanted nothing in return. Eric touched so many lives, and we grieve this loss collectively. A man like Eric only comes along once in a lifetime. He was such special person and friend. As we keep Eric’s immediate family in our thoughts and prayers, we also ask that you respect their privacy and space at this time. We will update Eric’s GoFundMe page with further details, only at the families request. There will be a Celebration of Life for Eric in the future. We will post the information when the family makes it available. A share is just as important as a contribution.
